one more tune and we'll take a break.
The tunes they just keep coming.....
Garrett plays more music per set than anyone I've ever seen.
Nearing the end of the 1st set and the energy is still accelerating.
Karen had internet fans asking for her all night. I guess it got late and they fell asleep. Here she is doing one for the fans.
Matt Hebb is featured on most tunes when he's up. How can you not be a feature with licks like this.
Brad must be doing stuff right, because there are always great players coming out just to play with the house band. Steve on harp chips in on this one.
From JW Jones latest CD BLUELISTED, here's what was happening at Bearlys April 12, 2008.
Almost everytime I go to Bearlys someone new ( to me) shows up with another great performance. Where do they all come from?
The younger player in white on thre right is Jamie and I noticed he started showing up last fall. They just keep coming.
I've caught Karen at the JAM a few times and this is another great performance.
This guy has become one of my favourite artits, I just love the vibe he has and the tone and delivery is a perfect fit. Where are these folks hiding?
Brad, Matt and Steve showing you how it's done. Some of the stuff these guys pull out every week just great.
The spirit of the Sundayjam. The stage is loaded with people that have never played with each other before, and that's just part of the fun.The spirit of the Sundayjam. The stage is loaded with people that have never played with each other before, and that's just part of the fun.

Barry Cooke inside the Boogie Band. From Thursday April 10,2008
A visitor, leads the band with Andrew Gillis and Dave McIssac. Its these guests that make the show a little different each week.
1st time up and they are a hit. Two sweet girls and some silky vibe..
Its always great to see the women come out the the JAM. Especially the blues singers.
Young Jamie on guitar, Andrew Gillis fronting the show and Mike fillin in on Harp.
Nice stuff, Blake plays some tasty funky shit. Andrew singing that funky jive.
This is THE JAM.
Matchstick Mike let us LIVE webcast his show at Bearlys. We were on mogulus.com fo streaming then and had viewers as far away as New Zealand, and Uraguay.
Here's a little piece we taped from that show.
Yea, you never know who might be downtown and in the mood to play. Here's a piece with Joe Murphy Jan 2008.
JW Jones and his crew from Ottawa are headed back east and are coming to Bearlys. If you can't make Bearlys, you're still in luck, because JW is allowing us to webcast his show there, Starts around 9:30-10:00pm so don't be late.
If you want to be a camera operator/producer (from yoyr home) for the friday or saturday show, please email us at info(at)bluestube(dot)com.
Last time I was at the Jam (20 jan) this guy (Barry Mack) got up. I hadn't seen him before. Wow the set was awesome, the band was hot all night....but our recording system was messed and it was lost. This is a clip from the NY Levy 2008. Steve Mariner slips right in there. great stuff.
I've seen Megan on stage at Bearlys a few times. A pretty young talented regular that the crowd loves.
Andrew Gillis hosts the Jam at Bearlys for this Sunday 11 Nov.2007. Peter Rioux is visiting from Fredericton, New Brunswick , just a young keyboard player and a monster one at that. Pete sits in for the night (hard working too). Here's a piece from the end of the night, Pete playing a little hammond. This was the basic Jam Band for this night. Many of these players haven't played with each other before, and that doesn't matter, in fact it helps.
Yea the video is pretty low res...recording a LIVE webcast at 155Kbps video at 240 x 180 this gets out of focus when it gets blown back up to 480x360. The recording Mic is a little out of position, needs a abit more compression on vocals, , less PA and more stage sound, but not bad for the 1st shot, with no sound check. Yet really it helps most with musicians like these. Every Sunday this goes on. We'll start separating the LIVE webcast stream and the recording stream and get a better post VOD copy.
